NPTC Pesticide Application DevelopmentsNPTC are currently reviewing their Pesticide Application Assessments due to the update of the Green Code which is now available. Although there will only be slight changes to the content of the assessment the way in which the assessment is administered will see major developments. Candidates shall no longer need to purchase the Assessment Schedule from an Assessment Centre; instead it can be downloaded from the NPTC website (www.nptc.org.uk). NPTC shall gain their fees through charging a unit registration for each unit rather than from the sale of the Schedule. A similar system is currently used for all other Certificates of Competence NPTC offer. PA1, the Mandatory unit shall no longer be assessed verbally by Assessors, instead a computer based assessment is being developed similar to that of the computer driving license.
